In this form, the final consonant of the root is doubled, and the first and second root consonants are not separated by a vowel, giving the pattern: اِفْعَلَّ – يَفْعَلُّ.
Similar to Forms 7 and 8, a hamza with kasra is added in the past tense to make the verb pronounceable, and it is dropped in the present tense.
This form is particularly used to denote colors or physical traits.
As you can see, there is no difference between the active and passive participles. However, passive participles in this form are extremely rare, as verbs in this pattern are typically intransitive.
